10. After the kettle switches itself off, you should wait before another use.
This is usually about 20 seconds.
11. If you accidentally turn on the kettle empty or all the water boils away, the protection is activated.
Before refilling water and boiling, wait 15 minutes.

The filter serves to stop any residues from entering your beverage.
This filter is not able to remove the calcium dissolved in the water.
cleaning
1. Before storing or cleaning the kettle, always disconnect the power supply and let the kettle to cool completely.
2. Never immerse any part of the power cord, plug, power base or kettle into any liquid.
Do not wash the kettle in the dishwasher.
3. Clean the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Carefully dry the entire kettle.
Do not clean with strong chemicals or abrasives as they can damage the surface of the kettle.
4. After some time limescale may appear in the kettle. In normal use and normal water hardness it is
not necessary to clean the pot more than twice a year. If the appliance automatically switches off
even before the water boils, it indicates that you must remove limescale.
Limescale can be removeb using the following methods:
Vinegar: Fill the kettle with half a liter of vinegar and let it to stand for about half an hour. Do not
boil vinegar! Once this period is over, empty the kettle and rinse it several times with water.
Citric acid: boil half a liter of water and then add to it 25 g of citric acid. Let the kettle stand for
about fifteen minutes. Empty the kettle and rinse several times with water.
Cleaners for limestone meant for other devices may damage the kettle.
No not clean inside of the kettle with abrasive materials or solvents.
TiPs
• If the kettle turns off before the water starts to boil, it indicates there is limescale in it. The second
possibility is that there is not enough of no water in the kettle.
• If the kettle was turned off by the protection, due to lack of water, leave it before another filling for
15 minutes. Then you can boil again.
