3 Design and Function
1. Device components/included in delivery
This multimeter has been designed according to EN61010-1-2010 and EN61010-2-033
concerning electronic measuring instruments with an overvoltage category (CATIII) and
pollution

The device is a battery-operated portable 3½-digit digital multimeter for measuring DC and
AC voltage, DC current and resistance and also for diode continuity testing.
1. Display:
3½-digit, 7 segments, 15 mm high, LCD.
2. Back light:
When this button is pushed, the back light
of display is switched on. After about 5
seconds, the back light switches off auto-
matically. Push this button again once to
switch the backlight on again.
3. Rotary switch:
This switch is used to select functions and
desired measuring ranges as well as to
turn on/off the meter.
4. „V.

. mA“ jack:
Plug-in connector (positive) test lead for
voltage, resistance and current (except
10 A) measurements.
5. „COM“ jack:
Plug-in connector for black (negative) test
lead.
6. „10A“ jack:
Plug-in connector for red test lead for 10A
measurement.
7. HOLD button:
When this button is pushed, the most recent
reading remains displayed and the “H”
symbol will appear on the LCD until it is
pushed again.
• Ensure that during measurement you do not touch the measuring points being measured.
• The device must be protected from moisture, splash water and the effects of heat.
• Do not use the device in explosive atmosphere.
• This product is not a toy! Keep the device away from children.
