Enable Direct Scan
By detecting the cover sensor, the Direct Scan function enables the scanner
to scan automatically when the scanner lid is closed as following steps:
1. Open Preferences menu and check [
Direct Scan
] then select one
button to apply with its scan settings.

Open the scanner lid and place the original.

3. Close the scanner lid.
NOTE:
Ensure the scanner lid is tightly closed, otherwise it may affect
the Direct Scan function.
4. When the lid is closed, the scanner will perform a scan automatically.
To continuous scanning, open the scanner lid and load the next document
then close the lid again.
