Thermal Cut Out (TCO)
The TCO is a safety device and must NOT be
bypassed. If TCO is found to be electrically open,
the cause must be found and corrected before
replacing Ice maker. To Check the TCO, set your
mult-meter to read resistance. Place probe tips
between the 16-Pin number 13 violet wire and the
violet wire on the On/Off switch. If 0
1
are read,
the TCO is closed. If infinite ohms are read, the
TCO is open.

Ice Fan Assembly
The Ice Fan assembly directs cold air across the ice
maker mold to decrease the time required to
make ice.
To access the ice fan assembly:
1.
Remove ice bin assembly and ice maker,
(see ice bin assembly section, page 48 and ice
maker section, page 49).
2.
Depress tabs on top and bottom of fan motor
assembly to release.
3. Disconnect wiring harness.
WARNING
To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power to unit using power
switch before servicing. Wires removed during disassembly must be replaced on proper terminals to insure
correct earth ground and polarization. After servicing, reconnect power using power switch.
