Warnings
Read and follow all instructions before using this
appliance to prevent the potential risk of fire,
electric shock, personal injury, or damage to the
appliance as a result of improper usage of the
appliance. Use appliance only for its intended
purpose as described in this manual.
To ensure proper and safe operation, appliance
must be properly installed and grounded by a
qualified technician.
DO NOT
attempt to adjust,
repair, service, or replace any part of your appliance
unless it is specifically recommended in this manual.
All other servicing should be referred to a qualified
servicer.
Make sure that incoming voltage is the same as unit
rating. An electric rating plate specifying voltage,
frequency, wattage, amperage, and phase is
attached to the product.
Electrical Requirements
Assure that the electrical installation is adequate
and in conformance with the National Electrical
Code, ANSI/NFPA 70-latest edition or Canadian
Electrical Code C22.1-1998 and C22.2 No. 0-M91
(or latest edition), and all local codes and
ordinances.
A 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only 15- or 20-
amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required.
It is recommended that a separate circuit serving
only your refrigerator be provided. Use an outlet
that cannot be turned off by a switch.
DO NOT use
an extension cord.
IMPORTANT:
If this product is connected to a GFCI
(Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected outlet,
nuisance tripping of the power supply may occur,
resulting in loss of cooling. Food quality and flavor
may be affected. If nuisance tripping has occurred,
and if the condition of the food appears poor,
dispose of it.
NOTE:
Before performing any type of installation,
cleaning, or removing a light bulb, turn the control
(Thermostat, Refrigerator or Freezer Control
depending on the model) to OFF and then
disconnect the refrigerator from the electrical
source. When you are finished, reconnect the
refrigerator to the electrical source and reset the
control (Thermostat, Refrigerator or Freezer Control
depending on the model) to the desired setting.
WARNING
ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD
Disconnect power or turn power disconnect
switch to “OFF” position before removing top
grille. Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. If a
2-prong wall receptacle is encountered,
contact a qualified electrician.

remove ground prong.
Unit must be grounded at all times.
