Close the clamping lever (5).
Make sure the clamping lever (5) is properly locked in its initial position.
Adjusting the sanding band
For proper use of the belt sander, the sanding band (10) must be in the centre of the support
plate.
Using the adjustment screw (11), make sure the sanding band (10) runs in a straight line. To
do this, turn the adjustment screw (11) left or right while the device is operating.
A faulty adjustment can cause damage or the sanding band to jump out. Replace
overused sanding bands.
Attaching the sanding frame
The sanding frame (9) allows an equally applicable abrasion when sanding large wooden
surfaces.
Push the guiding device of the sanding frame (9) into the respective slots on the support
plate, tighten nut (14) to fix the position of frame (9).
Fix the sanding frame (9) using the tightening screws (13).
By adjusting the nut (14) to change the position of screw (13), then adjust the height of
sanding frame (9), changing the distance of the sand belt to the surface of the workpiece.
Adjusting sanding frame (9) to a lower position will create a smoother surface.
Adjusting sanding frame (9) to a higher position wil increase the effciency of the sand
belt.
