13.6.4.2 Setting the warning times of the alarms for no/restored mains power
This option allows separately setting the time (in seconds) beyond which the SMS alarm messages
will be sent for “No Mains Power” and “Restored Power Supply” Obviously, the SMS warning of the
alarm is not sent in cases of momentary variations in power, whether failing or returning, that last less
than the set values of TOFF and TON; this feature can be useful for “filtering” sporadic alarms tied to
momentary mains outages that occur in certain zones of the nation
As mentioned in the previous paragraph, the parameters identifying these time settings are identified
by the TOFF label (to identify the time in seconds after which the event of “No Mains Power” is notified)
and the TON label (to identify the time in seconds after which the event of “Restored Mains Power” is
notified) Their default value (after an operation of “Reset GSM parameters”) is 5 sec and can be set
in a range between 1s and 3600s (1 hour) by means of the SMS messages described below
To set the time after which the SMS message for No Mains Power is sent out, send the following
message:
<user code>.AR.TOFF.xxxx
where
xxxx
is the number of seconds after which the “No Mains Power!” SMS message is sent out
The possible values xxxx to set are between 1 and 3600 (seconds)
Note
: No response SMS message is required from the chronothermostat 01913
Example
If the set user code is the default 1234, AR alarm management is enabled (see the preceding par),
and you want the No Mains Power message to be sent out only after there being no mains power for
at least 10 minutes (600 seconds), send the following SMS message:
1234.AR.TOFF.600
To read the setting for these times it is sufficient to send the AR settings request, with the generic
SMS message:
<user code>.?AR
The reply will give the TOFF and TON parameters as shown in the examples of the previous paragraph
