1. DESCRIPTION
The supplementary power supply unit art. 02031 is to be used in Due Fili systems to power electronic entrance panels and video door entry units to support
the main power supply unit art. 02030.
For video door entry units use the output terminals “-” and “+U” for all the other devices use the output terminals “-” and “+I”.
The power supply unit is required when there is more than one video entrance panel and/or there is more than one video door entry unit switching on at the
same time with the same call; the power supply unit can power a single specific appliance, entrance panel or video door entry unit.
The example tables illustrate when it is necessary to use a power supply unit art. 02031, depending on the number of entrance panels in the system and on
the number of audio or video door entry units that are activated/switched on at the same time.
A power supply unit art. 02030 powers up to 3 units simultaneously after which it is necessary to have a power supply unit art. 02031 for each added unit; if
the consumption exceeds 3 units use art. 02031 to power the video door entry units and the entrance panels and leave the power supply unit art. 02030
dedicated to the other appliances.
2. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Technopolymer casing class V0 on 4 module DIN enclosure.
• Supply voltage 230V 50 Hz (other power supplies on request).
• Output voltage 28 Vd.c. with no load, 26Vd.c. with load 0.5A (intermittent service) protected by PTC for auxiliary services.
• Internal protection for the primary circuit against shorting and temperature changes via PTC.
• Maximum overall dimensions 75x100x65mm.
3. INSTALLATION
The power supply unit can be installed on a wall with the screws and plugs provided or in cabinets equipped with a DIN bar (occupies the space of 4 modules).
It is advisable to connect the power supply with a two-pole miniature circuit breaker .
The power supply unit is equipped with PTC thermal protection that, in the event of the secondary circuit overloading, cuts off the 28 Volt supply as long
as the fault remains.
