5. INSTALLATION RULES
Installation should be carried out in compliance with the current regulations
regarding the installation of electrical systems in the country where the products
are installed.
- Carefully read the instructions given in this document as they provide important information on safety for installation, use and maintenance.
- After removing the packing, check the integrity of the appliance. The packing materials (plastic bags, foam polystyrene, etc.) must not be left within the reach of
children as they are a potential source of hazard. The system must be made in compliance with current CEI standards.
- Above the power supply there must be a bipolar circuit breaker that is easily accessible with a contact gap of at least 3mm.
- Before connecting the appliance make sure that the panel data conform to the data of the distribution network.
- This appliance must be intended solely for the use for which it has been expressly designed, and that is for audio door entry systems. Any other use is to be con-
sider improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage deriving from improper, erroneous or unreasonable use.

- Before doing any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the electric supply mains, turning the system switch off.
- In the event of faulty and/or poor operation of the appliance, cut off the power supply with the switch and do not tamper with it. For any repair work, contact only
a technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer. Failure to comply with the above may jeopardise the safety of the appliance.
- Do not obstruct the openings or slots for ventilation or heat disposal and do not subject the appliance to drips or splashes of water.
- The installer must make sure the user information is given on the derived appliances.
- All the appliances forming the system must be intended solely for the use for
which they have been designed.
