6.1 Autolearn of devices on primary thermostat (step 1)
This sets up the communications between the primary thermostat
and a radio relay actuator or Internal Communication Interface.
Note.
It is recommended to reset the Radio Transceiver Base Station of the
primary thermostat before carrying out the autolearn procedure.
Radio relay actuator
1. Install the actuator in its definitive position and connect it to the
electricity supply.
2. Place the primary thermostat near the relay radio actuator that is
being configured.
3. Reset the device using the
command in the "installa-
tion menu" of the primary thermostat (see paragraph 4.2).
4. Initiate device autolearn using the
command in
the "installation menu" of the primary thermostat (see para-
graph 4.2).
5. Confirm. The display signals waiting through the rotation of the
symbol cursors.
6. Press the programming button on the actuator.
7. If the actuator has been successfully configured, the
mes-
sage appears for a few seconds alongside the network address
of the programmed device.
Note.
In the case of a primary thermostat, the device autolearn and
association operations can be carried out simultaneously using the
command in the “installation menu” (see paragraph 4.2).
This operation must be carried out within 60 seconds.
Internal Communication Interface
1. Install the Internal Communication Interface and connect it to the
GSM Communicator (see the separate Instruction Manual).
2. Reset the Internal Communication Interface using the "Reset
procedure" described in the separate Instruction Manual.
3. Place the primary thermostat close to the Internal Communication
Interface that is being configured.
4. From the GSM Communicator, set up the Internal Communication
Interface using the "Enrol Additional Devices" procedure
described in the separate Instruction Manual.
5. Select
“installation menu” on the primary thermostat
(see paragraph 4.2).
