8. PHONES: headphones socket
You can use this 6.3mm jack socket to plug in
headphones with an impedance of at least 32
Ω
.
9. LEVEL: volume knob
Use this knob to change the volume of the atta-
ched headphones.
10. Display
The display shows track number, elapsed playing
time and other information.

REPEAT
Button for repeating the individual track or the
entire CD.
12.
BACK
Button for going back one track.
13.
NEXT
Button for going forward one track.
1. WARM UP indicator LED
This LED is illuminated while after switching on the
tubes are being warmed up.
2. HDCD indicator LED
This LED is illuminated while an HDCD is being
played.
3. Disc tray
This drawer can be opened or closed to insert
CD’s with the button “ OPEN/CLOSE”.

OPEN/CLOSE
Button for opening and closing the CD tray.
5.
PLAY/PAUSE
Button for starting or interrupting the playback of
the CD.
6.
STOP
Stops the current playback of a CD or switches
from pause to the player’s initial state.
7. POWER
This is the main power switch for turning on and
off the device. When switched off, the device is
disconnected from the mains. The CD-S1.1 has no
standby option.
