INSTALLATION

BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE

Remove all packing material before using your appliance.

IMPORTANT

: Before connecting the unit to a power source, let it stand upright for approximately

24 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling
during transportation.

Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.

INSTALLATION OF YOUR APPLIANCE

This unit is designed for freestanding and built-in installation and indoor use only. Position the unit
in a dry and well-ventilated place. Avoid placing the cooler near any source of heat or moisture, or
in direct sunlight. Do NOT install the unit in a location with an ambient temperature that will fall
below 60°F.

For freestanding installation, leave a

¼” (6.35mm) space on each side and at the top, and 1-2” at

the back of the cooler to ensure proper air circulation to cool the compressor and condenser. Also,
be sure to not obstruct the front exhaust vent with anything as this may prevent the unit from
performing properly.

For built-in installation, it is also important to keep space on each side and at the top of the
appliance. If you plan to install the unit into cabinetry, please make sure to follow the
requirements listed below:

Cabinet Opening Dimensions (minimum)

Width

24”

Depth

25”

Height

33”

Place the appliance on a level surface strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded.

It is important for the appliance to be leveled in order to work properly. You may need to make
several adjustments to level it. To level the cooler, adjust the front leveling legs at the bottom of
the cooler.

For best performance it is recommended that you install the appliance in a location with an
ambient temperature between 60°-90°F. If the ambient temperature is above or below
recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected.

It  is  recommended  that  you  do  not  install  the  appliance  near  an  oven,  radiator  or  other  heating
source.  Direct  sunlight  may  affect  the  acrylic  coating  and  heat  sources  may  increase  electrical
consumption.  Don’t  install  in  a  location  where  the  temperature  will  fall  below  60°F.  For  best
performance, do not install the appliance behind a cabinet door or block the base grille.

Do not store or install the appliance outdoors, in a garage, basement, or in moist areas.

Plug the unit into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet.

INSTALLATION OF THE METAL HANDLES

Pull  away  the  door  gasket  in  the  area  where  the
handle  is  to  be  installed.  The  gasket  is  easily
removed by hand, no tools are necessary.

Insert the two (2) Phillips head screws with the lock
washers and flat washers through the gasket side
of the door frame until the screws pass through the
door frame. Follow the sequence shown in the
figure.

Align  the  handle  with  the  screws  installed  in  the
above step. Tighten the screws using a Phillips head
