If Custom or Standard has been selected for the registration mark distance
adjustment setting (see Section 6.13, “Setting the Registration Mark Reading
Area (Option)”), the screen for inputting corrective values is not displayed.

If you press the
F4
key (MANUAL), the following message appears.
Use the
POSITION
keys to move the pen tip to MARK 1 (Point 1), and then
press the
ENTER
key.
When Point 1 has been scanned, move the pen tip to MARK 2 (within the Point
2 area) and then perform the same operation as for Point 1.

When both points have been scanned automatically or manually, the display
changes to the following (only displayed if OFF has been selected for
DISTANCE ADJUST). The measured value for the distance between points 1
and 2 is shown in the 3rd row. Set the actual distance in the 4th row.

keys to increase or decrease the value.

key to register your setting.

When adjustment has been completed, the plotter returns to Ready status.
3-point reading (3POINTS)
This procedure explains how to align the coordinate axes based on three points.
The plotter reads the orthogonal points of three registration marks, corrects the tilt
in both coordinate axes, and then performs distance adjustment.
If Custom or Standard has been selected for the registration mark distance
adjustment setting (see Section 6.16, “Setting the DISTANCE ADJUSTMENT
(Option)”), the screen for inputting corrective values is not displayed.

Select 3POINTS for MARK SCAN MODE, load media in the plotter, and then
press the
AXIS/R.M.S
key. The following menu appears.
