5.1 Using the HOLD Function
Press the
HOLD
key during a cutting or plotting operation to temporarily suspend
the cutting or plotting operation. While the operation is suspended, a selection
menu appears on the control panel display. Depending on the situation, select
whether to continue or to quit the operation.

Press the
HOLD
key. The following menu appears.

Press the
F3
key (CONTINUE) to continue the suspended plotting or cutting
operation.
If the
F4
key (QUIT) is pressed, the CLEAR BUFFER MEMORY menu shown
below appears.

Press the
F3
key (CLEAR) to clear the buffer memory. If you don’t wish to clear
the buffer memory, press the
F4
key (CANCEL) to return to the menu displayed
in
Step 1
.

If the
F3
key (CLEAR) is pressed, the display changes as shown below.

The plotter returns to Ready status.
