Integrated Server
The Touch Panel has several integrated server that enable a remote
maintenance within a network. Some servers only allow access by means
of entering
User name
and
Password
. The following login data are used
standardly:
User name:
wince
Password:
vipatp
You must not change the user name. But you may change the password
via the registry.
For this, start the editor via
START

Programs
>
Registry Editor
. The
entry for the password is to be found at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/KUKINIT/DefaultPasswd
Please remember to store the changes to the registry via
START
>
Programs
>
KuK Tools
before switching off.
Per default the following server are integrated:

ftp server (activated)
•
http server (activated)
•
Telnet (activated)
•
VNC (not activated)
Phrases that are used in the description of the server:
A client is an application that uses the service of a server within a network.
For example, a web browser is a client because at every call of a website it
sends a request to a web server and receives an answer.
A server is an application that waits for the contact request of a client
application and exchanges messages with it after contact start. This
communication type is called Client-Server communication.
