5-Installation
ViRATOP
ViRAVENT
ViRACLEAN
ViRATOP should be mounted at the highest point of the system and at any points where air
pockets may occur. (Figure 1)
It is to be installed vertically with the connection at the bottom with 2° gradient. (Figure 2)
Don’t obstruct the air valve and keep valve accessible.
During the instalation if tested with compressed air, a 1/2" cap should be used to shut off air
vent and must be romoved after the test.
ViRAVENT unit must be installed at the hottest part of the system for optimum performance.
For example, ViRAVENT AIR SEPERATOR should be installed after the boiler and on the pump
suction side; In a chilled water system the unit must be located in the return close to the chiller.
The static head must not exceed 15m for heating system and 5m for cooling system
ViRAVENT should be mounted with the body vertical and airvent is at the top.
Don’t obstruct the air valve and keep valve accessible.
Deaerator is to be installed a maximum of 2° slope. (Figure 2)
During the instalation if tested with compressed air , a 1/2" cap should be used to shut off air
vent and must be romoved after the test.
ViRACLEAN dirt separator should always be installed before equipment that needs for example
boilers, chillers, controll valves, pumps. Also in heating and colling systems the unit must be
located in the return.
Should be mounted with the body vertical and drain valve is at the bottom. (Figure 3)
Draining dirt and floating pollutions from ViRACLEAN can be only carried out by a qualified
installer as below:
- Draining water may be hot.
- Unscrewed and remove the safety plug and use the back of the plug as a handle to open
the drain valve for a short period.
- After no dirt is drained off anymore, shut off the valve.
- Then make sure to fit the safety plug.
- After draining the dirt separator, check the pressure of the system and refill if necessary.
