4.4 Shock Alarm Menu
The “Shock Alarm” can be activated to detect any break-in attempts on the door
of the safe/cabinet, activating a relay output which can be connected when the
safe/cabinet is installed to an additional alarm module, such as for example the
“Viro M.A.C.” Mobile phone Burglar-alarm Module” (item 4399) or to a centralized
burglar alarm system. For connection to an external alarm, see page 87.
Note: this option is particularly effective in providing protection since it can
detect any break-in attempts before the safe/cabinet is actually opened.
Press OK to access the menu for adjusting the sensitivity of the alarm: four
sensitivity settings are available: 0 = alarm deactivated, 1 = high level sensitivity,
2 = medium level sensitivity, 3 = low level sensitivity.
The sensitivity level can be selected by means of the arrow buttons and .
The selected sensitivity level will be shown in square brackets [ ].
Once the required sensitivity level has been selected, confirm the selection by
pressing OK. The system will emit 3 beeps and the display will show:
If BACK is pressed instead, the system will return to submenu 4.4 without
changing any setting.
