Electrical connection
Electrical connections should only be made by a qualified
electrician.
WARNING
Dangerous voltage.
Touching live parts can lead to serious injury or death.
All work which relates to the electricity of the machine may
only be carried out by trained electricians.
Observe the currently effective EMC regulations.
Voltage, current, frequency and protection are marked on the
Type plate.
The voltage tolerance is ± 10%.
For machines which have not been pre-wired by VIRTUS , the
electrical connection is to be carried out in accordance with the
enclosed
Wiring diagram
in the terminal box.
When doing this, the regulations of the local electricity authority
are to be adhered to. The cable cross section required is to be
determined according to the rated capacity of the units.
WARNING
When operating specific equipment caution must be taken
to prevent electrical shock. Installation, service, alterations
and or modifications must only be done by qualified per-
sonal and with high regard for safety. Not conforming to
the requirements could result in bodily injury, death or
costly damage.
HINT
Alterations to the wiring diagrams from VIRTUS require our
approval. Failure to do this will exclude all guarantee
claims.
The wiring schematics are located in the control panel in the
event that the control panel is a part of the delivery.
