7.1 REPLACING SPARE PARTS
If needed, machine parts must be replaced with original spare
parts, in order to guarantee effectiveness.
Any parts replaced must be disposed of in accordance with
the current laws regarding materials in the country of use.
The replacement of components requires specific training and
technical competence. For this reason, these operations must
be performed by qualified personnel, so as to prevent damage
to the machine and hazards to people.
7.2 TRIMMING BIT REPLACEMENT
Protective gloves must be worn when performing this
operation.
Changing the bit:
• Open the protective cover of the clamp.
• Remove screws A (Fig. 21), using the service key.
• Remove copier group B.
• Lock the bit with the aid of the service key.
• Remove the screw, washer and bit C.
Replace the bit with a new one and reassemble the copier
group.
CAUTION
If the new bit is not the same model as the one that was
mounted, you must readjust the trimmer, as explained in
section 5.6 of this manual.
Changing the copier:
For straight edge finishes, you must change the copier for refe-
rence 8546404 (10° Feeler), proceeding as follows:
• Open the protective cover of the clamp.
• Loosen screw D (Fig. 22) using the service key and remove the
washer and copier for a radiate shape
• Position the copier for straight finishing and refit the washer
and screw
• Once the new copier is in place, adjust the end of the board for
straight finishes as shown in Table A of section 3.3.1 Information
