Getting Started
1.
Hair should be clean and completely dry before using the curling iron.
2.
Plug the curling iron into an electrical outlet and turn to “ON”, the power
indicator light will be flashing red.
3.
Allow the curling iron 30 seconds to heat up. The power indicator light will
then turn to solid blue when ready to use.
Never leave the curling iron on and unattended. However, should you fail to
turn the wand off, it will shut itself off automatically within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The curling iron’s barrel will get very hot within a few seconds and
should not be placed in contact with the skin after the curling iron has been
turned on.
How to curl hair
For best results, use a light styling product before blow-drying hair. Always do a
test curl before using the curling iron to ensure the proper temperature setting for
your hair type. NOTE: Use extreme caution when using this unit on wigs and hair
extensions
.
1.
Start curling with a section that is about 1 inch wide and no more than a ½
inch thick.
2.
Open the clip, place a hair section on the barrel evenly between clip and
barrel, rolling up. Wind the hair up as far as you want it curled, being careful
not to let the barrel touch the scalp. Release the pressure on the handle and
allow the hair to be trapped between the barrel and the clip.
3.
Hold in place for 5-10 seconds, depending on the texture and length of your
hair.
4.
To remove hair from in between the clip and barrel, press firmly on the clip
lever and release and pull away.
5.
Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hairstyle
you desire. It may be necessary to repeat process on certain areas, depending
on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when using this curling iron. After using it several
times, you will learn the ideal way to curl and style your hair.
