SETTING THE STEP LENGTH
In order to calculate the distance the user has walked or jogged, the pedometer needs the users step
length. Follow these steps to obtain the step length and enter it into the pedometer.
Measure the user’s step length toe
-to-toe or heel-to-heel. For more accurate results, measure the
distance of 10 steps and divide the distance by 10 to get the users average step length.
To enter the step length, Make sure the unit is in step mode.
Press and hold S until the clock starts flashing. Repeatedly press S until the CM or IN flashes on the
bottom screen. Repeatedly press R until the correct distance for the user is displayed. Range
between 30cm (12”)
- 150
cm (60”). Wait for 5 seconds, the setting menu will close and the users
new step length will be saved.
USING THE PEDOMETER
Press R to reset steps, miles, calories and activity to 0.
Clip the pedometer on your belt. The pedometer must be in a vertical position, otherwise incorrect
readings may result.
Start to walk or jog as you normally do.
PAUSING THE PEDOMETER
To pause the unit from recording your steps press and hold ll for 3 seconds. The word PAUSE will be
displayed.
To continue recording your steps once paused, press ll for 3 seconds.
ANNOUNCING THE NUMBERS OF STEPS, DISTANCE,
CALORIES AND TIME.
Press T. The pedometer will announce the displayed option on the bottom LCD screen. Press and
hold T to make the unit announce the steps, time active, calories and current time.
USING THE MEMORY FUNCTION
The pedometer can store the data from the last 7 days of use. Press [M] (memory button) to cycle
through the stored data. Starting with the day before (day 1) and working backwards to day 7. To
exit the memory to clear the 7 days of data memory press and hold [M] (memory Button) for 5
seconds.
