Destination Port
This item defines the port number which must match that which the target hardware is listening on.
The port number may be entered in the range 0 to 65535.
8.2.1.1.1.4.
Encap
This option allows for the protocol of the video stream to be set to either RTP/UDP (to make use of
Real-time Transport Protocol) or UDP only (to only use User Datagram Protocol).
Real-time Transport Protocol is the more desirable option as it provides facilities for jitter
compensation and detection of out of sequence data arrival.

8.2.1.1.1.5.1.
TS Pckts per IP
This setting configures the number of ASI packets to be encapsulated in a single IP Packet. A lower
number will result in less effect if an IP packet is lost but will result in a larger number of packets per
second on the network. Valid values range from one to seven.
8.2.1.1.1.5.2.
FEC
This option provides the facility to enable or disable the forward error correction.
The following table gives some examples of the relationship between L & D, latency and
number of IP packets that can be recovered.
This is based on 7 ASI packets per IP packet.
Note that this item will only be available and displayed if the Encap option has been set to RTP/UDP.
