REGISTRY EDITING: CONFIGURING THE DRIVER
To edit the registry settings, use the registry editor included with the OS.
Go to "Start>run>regedit": Then:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VCChd\Parameters
To make a hidden parameter or "DWORD" value visible, while viewing the parameters, go to
"Edit>New>DWORD Value". Now you can type in the DWORD value name and save. To
change a DWORD value double click and modify as required. The driver always must be
stopped and restarted before changes will take effect. This can be done by accessing the devices
through the desktop shortcut or "Control Panel>Devices" and stopping and restarting the driver.
If the VCCHD driver ever fails to restart, you may simply reboot the system.
