Connecting the Camera

HD helmet cameras are shipped with custom interface cable as per customers specifications.

Once the camera is powered and has an IP connection, users can web browse to the camera to

control its functions.

The web browser allows control of camera parameters such as encoder resolution, encoder bit-

rate, and network settings.

All parameters are non-volatile, meaning they will be remembered after re-powering the camera.

Type the camera’s IP address into the browsers address bar, using the camera IP address

192.168.1.195

.

Default IP Address

HD Helmet cameras are by default set with a fixed IP address of

192.168.1.195

If the camera is not responding on this address it is possible that the IP address has been changed.

If the new IP address is unknown, the user can use the VE Camera Viewer software application to

locate the IP address. This method is explained in the

The VE Camera Viewer

 section of this user

guide.
