Presettings
To adjust the pedometer, the following settings should be made in
the following order:
Time format – Time – Date – Measurement units – Step length –
Body weight – Step target
It is not possible to access individual setting categories directly.
The whole settings menu must be run through.
Basic procedure:
Increase the fl ashing value with the
MODE
but-
ton or decrease it with the
RES
button and confi rm this with the
SET
button. After this, the following setting is automatically called
up.
To run through the digits quickly, hold down the respective
button.
If no button is pressed for 30 seconds, setting mode ends
automatically.
The pedometer must be on the
Step
display to allow you to switch
to setting mode.
1. Keep pressing the
MODE
button until
Step
appears in the top
row of the display.
2. Hold down the
SET
button for approx. 3 seconds to switch to
setting mode.
Adj
fl ashes on the display. The
time format
(24 h
or 12 h) then fl ashes.

button to select

and use
the
SET
button to confi rm it.
Time
setting is called up.
4. First set the hour, then the minutes and seconds.
5. Set the current

in the sequence month, day, year.
6. Choose metric (

) or imperial

measurement units.
7. Set the
step length.
The average step length for children is
50 cm / 20”, for women 66 cm / 26” and for men 76 cm / 30”.
8. Enter your own
body weight.
This is required to calculate the
calories consumed.
9. Set the
step target
per day. Set each fl ashing digit individually
and confi rm. Once the fi rst 4 digits have been set, setting mode
is exited automatically.
Display
When the
MODE
button is pressed, the displays change in the
following order:
•
Steps
(
Step

)): Number of steps made since mid-
night. To reset the step number to 0, hold down the
RES
button.

symbol): Distance covered on that day.
You can use the
SET
button to switch between kilometres and
miles.

): The
pedometer saves the number of steps, distance, calorie con-
sumption and movement time for 30 days. The
SET
button is
used to switch between these categories. You can press the
RES
button to call up the previous day in each case.

Total
(
Total
symbol): In each case the total number of steps,
distance, calorie consumption and movement time since the
pedometer was last fully reset. The
SET
button is used to
switch between these categories.
Full reset: In the
Total
view hold down the
RES
button for 3
seconds.
At midnight the steps, distance, calorie consumption and
movement time recorded over the course of the day are
saved and the respective displays are reset to 0.
Deactivating and Activating Step Counting
Step counting should be deactivated if you are not actively moving
but for example are moving in a car. The pedometer might incor-
rectly record this as steps.
• Both to deactivate and activate counting on any display, hold
down the
MODE
and
RES
buttons simultaneously for 3 sec-
onds. The
symbol goes out when the counting is deactivat-
ed, and is lit when it is activated.
Only when eight steps in a row are made are these record-
ed and displayed. This is intended to prevent accidental
step counting.
Energy-Saving Mode
If the pedometer does not register any movement or no button is
pressed for 3 minutes, it switches to energy-saving mode. As soon
as it registers a movement or a button is pressed, it automatically
switches on again.
Clearing Saved Data
• The display of the number of steps, distance, calorie consump-
tion and movement time can be reset to 0 manually. To do this,
hold down the
RES
button for 3 seconds. During the clearing
process,
CLEAR
fl ashes on the display.
• To delete the total records, in the
Total
view hold down the
RES
button for 3 seconds.
Changing the Battery
When the battery symbol lights up, the battery needs to be changed.
The battery compartment is located on the back of the pedometer.
1. Undo the screw on the battery compartment with a small screw-
driver and remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Replace the button cell battery with a new CR2032 button cell
battery. Make sure that the positive pole is facing upwards.
3. Insert the battery compartment cover and screw it tight.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
The battery should be removed prior to disposal of the prod-
uct and disposed of separately from the product at a suit-
able collection point.
The product is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/
EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
Do not dispose of the product as normal domestic waste, but
rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.
