Cleaning
Care and maintenance
Aluminium profiles of the crutches are to be cleaned with a damp cloth.
• Hand grip and elbow suspender are to be cleaned with soft detergents,
• All moving elements of the crutches (friction-latch regulator) are to be removed
immediately
You must not use:
• solvents
• toilet detergents
• sharp brushes and hard objects
• detergents that contain chlorine
• corrosive detergents
Do not clean the crutch with pressure or steam aggregates!
Disinfection
If the product is used by several people (e.g. in a nursing home), commercially available
disinfectants should be used. Before disinfecting, clean the upholstery and handles.
Only tested and approved disinfectants may be used for disinfection.
Information on recognized and approved disinfectants and disinfection methods is
available from your national health authority.
WARNING!
The use of disinfectants can damage the outer surfaces, which can reduce
the long-term functionality of components. Follow the instructions provided
by manufacturer of the chemical product.
Service and repair
The review should be carried out regularly, it should be preceded by thorough cleaning
the crutches (so as to reveal any hidden damage). If repairs are needed or if you have
any questions about the product, please contact your distributor.
Product disposal
The product must be disposed of in accordance with applicable local and national
regulations. For information on the proper disposal of packaging, metal components,
plastic components, neoprene, silicone and polyurethane materials, please contact
your local waste disposal company or authorized distributor.
