SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM
To prolong lifetime of the iron we recom-
mend to clean it regularly (once or twice a
month - depending on the water hardness).
•
Set the continuous steam supply knob
(3) to the leftmost position - continuous
steam supply is off.
•
Fill the water tank with water till the
«MAX» mark.
•
Place the iron on its base (9).
•
Insert the plug into the socket.
•
Set the temperature control knob (4) to
the position «•••».
•
Let the iron heat up and wait till the light
indicator (10) goes out.
•
Unplug the iron and place it above the
sink horizontally.
•
Press the self-cleaning button (11) (pic.
7).
•
Boiling water and steam with scale will
be released from the iron soleplate
openings. It is recommended to swing
the iron slightly back and forth during
cleaning.
•
Release the cleaning button (11) in a
minute or when the water tank is empty.
Place the iron on its base.
•
Insert the power plug into the socket
and let the iron heat up again.
•
Iron a piece of cloth to evaporate the
remaining water.
•
Unplug the unit and wait till the iron sole-
plate cools down completely.
•
Before you take the iron away for stor-
age, make sure that iron soleplate is
completely dry.
CLEANING AND CARE
•
Before cleaning the iron, make sure that
it is unplugged and has cooled down
completely.
•
Clean the iron body with a soft, slightly
damp cloth, and then wipe it dry.
•
Scale on the iron soleplate can be
removed with a cloth soaked in vinegar-
water solution.
•
After removing scale, polish the sole-
plate surface with a dry cloth.
•
Do not use abrasive substances to clean
the iron soleplate and body.
•
Avoid contact of iron soleplate with
sharp metal objects.
STORAGE
•
Turn the temperature control knob (4)
counterclockwise to the MIN position,
and set the continuous steam supply
knob to the leftmost position - steam
supply is off.
•
Pull the plug out of the socket.
•
Drain any remaining water from the
water tank (pic. 8).
•
Put the iron vertically and let it cool down
completely.
•
Store the iron vertically.
