•
Do not use the coffee maker if the power cord
or plug is damaged, if the unit malfunctions or
after the unit was damaged.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it should be
replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance
service or similar qualified personnel to avoid
danger.
•
Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not dis-
assemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-
function is detected or after it was dropped,
unplug the unit and apply to any authorized
service center from the contact address list
given in the warranty certificate and on the
website www.vitek.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original packag-
ing only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and
people with disabilities.

IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES
IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After the unit transportation or storage at
low temperature keep it for at least three
hours at room temperature before switch-
ing on.
– Take the coffee maker out of the package and
remove the packaging materials.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use it in
case of damages.
– Make sure that operating voltage of the cof-
fee maker corresponds to the voltage of your
mains.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC sys-
tem and 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does
not need any additional settings for operating
with the required nominal frequency.
BEFORE USING THE UNIT
•
Make sure that the operation mode switch (5)
is set to the position «
OFF
».
•
Before using the coffee maker for the first
time, wash all removable parts (2, 3, 6) with
warm water and neutral detergent, rinse and
dry them.
•
Before switching the unit on, make sure that
the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage
specified on the unit body.
•
Unscrew the lid (1) turning it counterclock-
wise.
•
Pour about 240 ml of water into a cup of suit-
able height.
•
Pour the water from the cup into the water
tank.
•
Thread the lid (1) rotating it clockwise.
•
Install the coffee filter (2) into the holder (6),
do not add ground coffee to the filter (2).
•
Install the filter holder (6) into the coffee
maker. The holder (6) ledges should match
the grooves on the boiler «
», after
that turn the filter holder (6) handle (8) to the
right until bumping «
».
•
Place the cup on the tray (11).
•
Insert the power plug into the socket.
•
Switch the coffee maker on by setting the
operation mode switch (5) to the position
«
», the light indicator (4) will light up,
the heating element will switch on and
water will start pouring into the cup under
pressure.
ATTENTION!
Before setting the switch (5) to the position
«OFF» place a suitable bowl under the tip
(10), as during the coffee maker switching
off the pressure is released and the steam
will be released from the tip (10).
•
After water pouring set the operation mode
switch (5) to the position «
OFF
» to switch
the coffee maker off and to release the
pressure.
•
To wash the cappuccinator pipe unscrew the
lid (1), fill a cup with water (no more than
50 ml), pour the water to the water tank and
screw the lid (1).
•
Place a suitable cup under the tip (10).
•
Switch the coffee maker on by setting the
operation mode switch (5) to the position
«
», the indicator (4) will light up, the heating
element will switch on and the steam under
pressure will be released from the tip (10).
ATTENTION!
Before setting the switch (5) to the position
«OFF» place a suitable bowl under the tip
(10), as during the coffee maker switching
off the pressure is released and the steam
will be released from the tip (10).
•
Set the operation mode switch (5) to the posi-
tion «
OFF
» to switch the coffee maker off and
to release the pressure.
•
The coffee maker is ready to use.
