Add frothed milk to the ready espresso, now cap-
puccino is ready. Add sugar to your taste, you
can decorate frothed milk with cocoa powder.
IMPORTANT:
– It is important that milk for making foam is fresh
and without additives, is not so-called long stor-
age milk. Use regular whole milk with fat content
from 4% to 6%, the cream fat content should be
not less than 10%.
– When choosing size of the cup for milk or cream
remember that milk or cream volume doubles,
make sure that height of the cup is enough.
– Clean the cappuccinator pipe (9) and its tip
(10) right after milk or cream frothing – to do
this, put the cappuccinator pipe with the tip (10)
into a glass of water, switch the steam supply
on for 10-15 seconds by setting the operation
mode switch (5) knob to the position «
», and
after that switch the coffee maker off by set-
ting the operation mode switch (5) to the posi-
tion «
OFF
».
ATTENTION!
Before setting the switch (5) to the position
«OFF» place a suitable bowl under the tip (10),
as during the coffee maker switching off the
pressure is released and the steam will be
released from the tip (10).
– Wait until the coffee maker cools down and
remove the tip (10) from the cappuccinator
pipe (9), wipe the cappuccinator pipe (9) with
a soft damp cloth and wash the tip (10) under
a water jet.
HOW TO MAKE A GOOD ESPRESSO
– Use fresh ground coffee for «espresso» cof-
fee makers.
– Slightly tamp the ground coffee in the filter (2),
you can do it with the back side of the measur-
ing spoon (3).
– Coffee strength depends on the quality and
grinding degree of coffee beans. If coffee is
pouring out too long, this means the coffee
powder is too fine or it is tamped too strongly.
REMOVING MINERAL SCALE
1. For effective operation of the coffee maker it is
necessary to clean (descale) the coffee maker
from mineral deposits every 2-3 months.
2. Fill the water tank with citric acid solution. It is
recommended to dissolve 30 g of citric acid in
1 l of water.
3. Install the coffee filter (2) into the holder (6), do
not add ground coffee to the filter (2). Install
the filter holder (6) into the coffee maker. The
holder (6) ledges should match the grooves on
the boiler «
», after that turn the filter
holder (6) handle (8) to the right until bumping
«
».
4. Place a suitable cup on the tray (11), switch the
coffee maker on by setting the operation mode
switch (5) to the position «PAUSE» , the light
indicator (4) will light up and the heating ele-
ment with be switched on. After 30-40 seconds
set the switch (5) to the position «
». After
5-10 seconds switch the water supply off by
setting the switch (5) to the position
5. If necessary, repeat the descaling process.
ATTENTION!
Before setting the switch (5) to the position
«OFF» place a suitable bowl under the tip (10),
as during the coffee maker switching off the
pressure is released and the steam will be
released from the tip (10).
6. Set the operation mode switch (5) to the posi-
tion «
OFF
» to switch the coffee maker off and to
release the pressure. Unscrew the lid (1) and fill
the tank with clean water.
7. Switch the coffee maker on by setting the
operation mode switch (5) to the position
«
», the light indicator (4) will light up, the
heating element will switch on and the water will
start pouring into the cup. Wait until the water
release stops completely. Repeat the washing
several times.
CLEANING
•
If during the filter (2) cleaning you find out that
the openings are blocked with the ground cof-
fee remnants, you can clean them with a small
brush.
•
Clean the coffee maker body with a soft, slightly
damp cloth and then wipe it dry. Do not use
metal brushes, abrasives and solvents.
•
Do not immerse the coffee maker body into
water or any other liquids.
•
Wash the removable parts of the coffee maker
with warm water and mild detergent, then rinse
them and dry.
Drip tray (11)
– Remove the tray (11) and pour the water out
of it, wash the tray (11) and install it back to its
place.
