Tips
–
Use only fresh fruits and vegetables, as they
have more juice.
–
For juice extracting you can use different veg-
etables (carrots, cucumbers, beets, celery
stems, spinach, tomatoes) or fruits (apples,
grapes, pineapples).
–
It is recommended to wash berries right
before juice extracting, as they lose fresh-
ness quickly.
–
It is not necessary to remove the thin peel
from fruits or vegetables, remove the thick
peel only, for example from pineapples and
beet.
–
When making juice from apples it is not nec-
essary to remove apple cores.
–
When extracting apple juice remember that
its richness depends on the apple sort.
–
Choose the apple sort, from which you can
make juice meeting your requirements.
–
Drink juice right after you made it. During
long storage in open air juice loses its taste
and nutrition value.
–
Apple juice gets dark quickly, but if you add
some drops of lemon juice to it, this suspends
the process of juice darkening.
–
If you store juice in the refrigerator, pour it
into a clean bowl with a lid in order to prevent
it from absorbing the smell of foods stored
in the refrigerator. It is not recommended
to store juice in a metal bowl, as juice can
acquire the corresponding flavour.
–
It is not recommended to use juice extrac-
tor for processing fruits with high content of
starch or pectin, such as bananas, papa-
ya, avocado, figs, apricots, mango, red and
black currants. Use other kitchen appliances
