be  replaced  by  the  manufacturer,  a 
maintenance service or similar qualified 
personnel to avoid danger.

Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not 
disassemble  the  unit  by  yourself,  if  any 
malfunction  is  detected  or  after  it  was 
dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any 
authorized  service  center  from  the  con-
tact address list given in the warranty cer-
tificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.

To avoid damages, transport the unit in 
the original package only.

Keep  the  unit  in  a  dry  cool  place  out 
of reach of children and disabled per-
sons.

THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD 
USE ONLY, ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND 
USAGE  IN  PRODUCTION  AREAS  AND 
WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After  unit  transportation  or  storage 
at low temperature keep it for at least 
three  hours  at  room  temperature 
before switching on.

– 

Unpack the unit completely and remove 
any  advertisement  stickers  that  can 
prevent the unit operation.

– 

Check the unit for damages; do not use 
it in case of damages.

– 

  Before connecting the power adapt-
er,  make  sure  that  voltage  of  the 
mains  corresponds  to  unit  operating 
voltage.

– 

Charge  the  battery  and  lubricate  the 
blade  block  following  the  recommen-
dations below.

The  hair  clipper  can  operate  only  on 
the built-in rechargeable battery.

Battery charging

Full  charging  of  the  accumulator  battery 
is enough approximately for 35 minutes of 
continuous operation.

– 

Switch  the  hair  clipper  off,  setting  the 
power switch (3) to the “O” position.

– 

Insert the power adapter (11) cord plug 
into  the  connection  socket  (1)  on  the 
lower side of the unit body. 

– 

 Place  the  hair  clipper  on  a  flat  stable 
surface.

– 

 Plug  the  power  adapter  (11)  plug  into 
the  mains  socket,  the  charging  indica-
tor (2) will light.

– 

The  full  charging  time  for  the  accu-
mulator  battery  is  10-12  hours;  do  not 
exceed it to avoid reducing the battery 
operating life.

– 

 After  the  battery  is  charged,  unplug 
the power adapter (11) from the mains, 
remove the adapter cord plug from the 
connection  socket  (1),  the  charging 
indicator (2) will go out.

Attention:

– 

Strictly follow the sequence of oper-
ations  when  connecting  the  power 
adapter.  First  connect  the  power 
adapter  jack  to  the  socket  (1)  and 
then  connect  the  power  adapter 
plug (11) to the mains socket.

– 

Charge  the  battery  the  first 
2-3  times  for  10-12  hours.  The  fol-
lowing  charging  cycles  time  should 
not exceed 8 hours.

– 

To  prolong  the  battery  operating 
life,  it  should  be  discharged  com-
pletely before each charging cycle. 

– 

Do  not  charge  the  batteries  at  tem-
perature below +5°C and above +35°C.

– 

If you have not used the hair clipper 
for a month or more, charge it com-
pletely before use.

– 

Never  leave  the  unit  connected  to 
the mains unattended.
