When installing the pump, ensure that it never hangs
freely on the water outlet pipe/hose or power cord.
The pump should be suspended by a rope attached to the
handle (4) provided for this purpose or placed on the
bottom of the well, pool or garden pond.
When installing the pump for automatic operation,
the location where the pump is to be placed must be
at least 50 x 50 x 50 cm long, wide and high to allow free
movement of the float switch.
When submerging the pump into the water, you should tilt
it slightly to ensure that the water enters the impeller
chamber. This reduces the possibility of air being drawn in
when the pump is started. If necessary, tilt the pump back
and forth several times until there are no air bubbles.
Make sure the pump is in a stable position so that the
suction base is not completely or partially blocked. It
should always be free of mud or any other dirt.
If the water level is too low, the mud can harden quickly
and prevent the water pump from starting. To ensure
trouble-free operation, place the pump, for example, on a
cement block.
To submerge, hoist or fix the pump, use a rope, tied to the
carrying handle (4).
1.
Screw the connector for the water outlet hose onto the
water discharge nozzle (8);
2.
Tighten the hose to the connector.
The connector allows you to couple 50.8 mm (2") hoses.
The hoses are fixed to the connector by means of the
grooves, according to their respective diameters. However,
it is recommended to secure 50.8 mm (2") hoses with an
additional clip or clamp.
Submersible water pumps are designed for domestic use,
in your house or garden. The pumps are used for drainage
after floods, liquid transfers, draining containers, drawing
water from wells and mines, draining boats or yachts, for a
limited period.
The pumps are fully submersible, they can be submerged
to the depth mentioned in the technical specifications.
After reading the installation and assembly instructions,
you can start up the water pump considering the following
aspects:
▪
Check that the pump is safely resting/suspended at the
suction point;
▪
Ensure that the water outlet hose is properly connected;
▪
Make sure the mains voltage is 230 V / 50 Hz;
▪
Ensure that the socket is not damaged in any way;
▪
Ensure that no moisture or water can reach electrical
connections;
▪
Avoid running the pump dry.
1.
The switching point (on/off) of the pump can be adjusted
by changing the position of the float switch cable (6) on
its holder (5).
Before starting the pump, check the following points:
▪
The float switch (7) must be set so that it can be raised
and lowered according to the fluctuations in the water
level without restrictions;
▪
The distance between the float switch and the holder (5)
must not be too short. If the distance is too short, proper
operation is not guaranteed;
▪
When adjusting, please note that the float switch must
not touch the bottom before the pump shuts off. If this
occurs, there is a danger of dry-running.
