ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Battery assembly
1
Insert the battery (7) into the electric machinery
fitting and press the battery until you hear the "click
noise" of the battery lock/unlock button. At this point
the battery is completely secured;
2. To remove, press the Battery lock/unlock button and
pull out the battery;
Only use VITO 20V lithium batteries.
Battery charging
1. Place the battery in the charger as if you placed it in
the electric machinery;
2. Plug the charger plug into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and
the charger may be hot, which does not mean that they
are malfunctioning.
Allow the battery to cool down before putting it in the
machine.
Grass bag assembly
The machine must not be in operation when installing
the grass bag.
1. Lift the stone deflector;
2. Place the grass bag and make sure it is securely
fastened so that it does not come out during
operation;
3. To remove, follow the same procedure.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When working with the electric machinery, you should
consider some precautions and operating procedures:

Switch the electric machinery off immediately if any
of the following problems occur:
- Leakage of lubricant through ventilation holes;
- Damage to the electric machinery housing;
- Damage to the "ON/OFF" switch;
- Appearance of smoke or characteristic burning smell;
Operation with or without grass bag
The electric machinery can operate with or without the
grass bag, as shown in the following images.
Starting and stopping the electric machinery
1. Put the isolator key located nearby the batteries;
2. Press the "ON/OFF" switch (3);
3. To increase and decrease the speed, press or release
the "ON/OFF" switch. The maximum speed is reached
with the switch fully pressed;
4. To turn the electric machinery off, release the
"ON/OFF" switch;
