Printouts of test reports are generated from the menu at the end of Automatic Mode tests. Other printouts available include:
complete listings of stored programs, self-test results, and other functions as described in the operating instructions for the 944i.
In order to ensure compatibility with various types of printers, the user may change the line terminator that the 944i sends to the
printer. To configure this function from the time/date screen, press the MENU key in the OPTIONS row. The following menu
appears:
PRINTER SETUP
CR LF CR+LF
With most printers, selecting CR (carriage-return) or LF (line-feed) will result in a single-spaced printout. Selecting CR+LF will
send both a carriage-return and a line-feed at the end of each line, and may result in double-spaced printouts.

VICL (Vitrek Instrument Control Loop)
The VICL interface is provided with the option IF-4 for the express purpose of communicating with and controlling auxiliary
units. This proprietary addressable serial communication link utilizes the four conductor modular telephone connector located
on the rear panel. Due to the device dependent nature of this interface, detailed information on the VICL protocol may be
located in the operating manual of the auxiliary unit.
