Table 9 – Data for the SYNC command
Notes –
•
The SYNC? Interrogative command returns the present state of the SYNC command.
•
Synchronization is assumed to be the fundamental frequency used for harmonics
measurements. Selecting no synchronization (ASCII data 5) disables all harmonics
and harmonics related results (including waveforms).
•
If all measurement results are not frozen when this command is executed, then all
measurements will be restarted as if the MEASURE=START command had also
been executed at the same time.
Example –
•
The user transmits: SYNC=0<NL>
The 2553/ 2553E selects measurements that will be synchronizing to the phase A
voltage waveform, and will restart all measurements if the 2553/ 2553E is presently
making measurements.
WIRING
This command selects which configuration of wiring the user is using with the 2553/
2553E. The WIRING command takes a single data only, which may be any of the
following ASCII data.
ASCII Data
Command Action
1P2W
A single phase is connected (phase A)
1P3W
Two phase, three-wire connections (phases A & B)
3P3W
Three phase, three-wire connections (delta)
3P4W
Three phase, four-wire connections (wye)

•
The WIRING? Interrogative command returns the present state of the WIRING
command.
