Appendix B - Measurement Specifications
Autorange
When enabled, continuously automatically selects the best range to produce
the highest accuracy results for the applied signal on each input
independently. Changes to a higher range take <10ms per range, changes to a
lower range take less than 1 cycle of the minimum frequency per range. The
2801/2802 can change to a lower range up to 2 ranges each cycle.
Ranging
Commanded range changes take less than 5ms.
Input Filtering
When user-set for low pass filtering, the user entered frequency is that for 5%
attenuation, otherwise accuracy is valid for frequencies up to 100kHz. When
unfiltered, the typical 3dB bandwidth is 5MHz. An adaptive filtering mode is
also provided, when selected the upper frequency (5% attenuation) is
nominally 200x the fundamental frequency or 150kHz (whichever is lower).
Low Frequencies
User selectable low frequency limit (does not affect measurement accuracy).
Measurement Rate Frequency
Made over the greater of 10ms or 2 cycles of input signal.
