7. TROUBLESHOOTING

Before proceeding to carry out any repairs, make sure
that the conditioner is not connected to the power
supply.
7.1. The conditioner display does not switch on
Check the following:
− The battery disconnector is not switched off.
− The fuse (where present) to protect the power line is undamaged.
− The fuse (2) (Fig. 3) in proximity to the compressor is undamaged.
− The fuse (3) (Fig. 3) on the control board in the top front part is
undamaged.
− The power cord is not broken.
− The battery is in perfect working order.
− The voltage on the connectors of the compressor electronic
unit is the same as that of the battery. If there is a voltage
drop over 0.6 V, check the following:
− The section of the power cord is suited to its length (see
the indications in the installation manual).
− Any joints along the power line have not become worn and that
they have been correctly tightened.
− There is no oxidation on the battery poles or in contact points.
7.2. The fan feeding air into the cab does not switch on
Check the following:
− the battery voltage is not lower than the safety threshold of 24 V DC.
This situation is signalled by the indicator light switching on (6) (Fig.
1).
− There are no error or ongoing alarm signals (see paragraph “4.5.
ALARM / ERROR Signal”).
7.3. Insufficient conditioner cooling
