Bridges create pathways for data packets to travel freely between two or more interfaces within the
Wi-Fi AP/Bridge. Bridges use both physical interfaces (such as the wireless interfaces) and logical
interfaces (such as a WDS connection). An interface can only be a part of one bridge at a time.
A default bridge, called “br0”, is configured to provide communications between the wired Ethernet
interface (eth0) and the wireless interfaces (wlan0-wlan1). The default IP address of the Wi-Fi
AP/Bridge is applied to this bridge for immediate access to these interfaces.
