Defrost
Defrost the freezing compartment whenever the layer of frost on the surface of the evaporator
reaches 3 or 4 mm.
1. Set the thermostat at “
OFF
” position and disconnect the refrigerator from main supply.
2. Remove drawers with frozen food, Store frozen food on some cold place.
3. Put the drip tray under the evaporator to collect melted water. To improve melting, you
can put the bowl with hot water inside of the compartment.
4. After the frost has melted, discard the melted water and clean all the interior.
5. Dry up the interior of refrigerator.
6. Put drawer into compartment and put back frozen foods.
7. Plug in refrigerator on main supply and turn thermostat to the desired setting.
It is recommended that you use frozen food as soon as possible
Do not use metal utensils or electric heater for defrost so as not to damage the
appliance.
Please remove the food and put in a cool place when defrosting before removing
drawers and other accessories.
Switching Off for Long Periods of Time
Foods can be preserved for a couple of hours even in summer in case of power failure; it is
recommended to reduce the frequency of opening door and do not put fresh foods into the
freezer.
When the unit is not in use for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains supply,
empty all food and clean the appliance. Keep the door open to avoid the bad odor.
Continuous operation is recommended when the refrigerator is started.
Please do not move the refrigerator under normal circumstances so as not to
affect the refrigerator's service life
