SANDWICH MAKER 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS. 

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the 
following:  
1.

Read all instructions.   

2.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.   

3.

To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or cooking unit in water 
or other liquid.   

4.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. 

5.

The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.   

6.

Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 

7.

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or 
taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.                                                                                       

8.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, 
or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliances to the nearest authorized service 
facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.                               

9.

The use of accessory attachments, not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer, may 
cause hazards.                                   

10.

Do not use outdoors.                                                 

11.

Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.                 

12.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.                                                         

13.

Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot 
substances.                                                             

14.

To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet.                           

15.

Do not use appliance other than for its intended use. 

16.

If the external flexible cable or cord of this appliance is damaged, it shall be exclusively 
replaced by the manufacture or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a 
hazard. 

17.

This appliances is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, 
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been 
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for 
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 

18.

This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate 
remote-control system

This appliance is for household use only.                                                                         
No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.                           
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or 
tripping over a long cord. An extension cord may be used with care, however, the marked electrical 
rating should be at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord should 
not be allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped 
over.
