4. Operating instructions
WARNING - Risk of injury!
The cutting blades (5) continue to rotate momentarily
after the appliance is switched off. Wait until the cutting blades (5) have come to a
standstill before you remove the appliance from the food.
WARNING -
In order to prevent damages to the appliance, stop the chopping process
immediately if the cutting blades (5) are either turning with difficulty or not turning
at all. Switch the appliance off and remove it from the beaker (4). Unplug the mains
plug (2) from the mains socket. Check whether there is a blockage in the beaker (4) or
whether the food is too tough. Remove the blockage and if required add some liquid.
Ensure the appliance is assembled correctly.
5. Cleaning and care
5.1 Cleaning

Prior to every cleaning, remove the mains plug (2) from the mains socket and allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
WARNING - Danger of electrocution!
Do not immerse the motor unit (3), power
cord (2) and mains plug (2) in water or other liquids. Do not hold the appliance under
running water.

Never use solvents or abrasive cleaners, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects when
cleaning. Solvents are harmful and can damage plastics, abrasive cleaners and aids can
scratch surfaces.

Remove the blender attachment (6) from the motor unit (3).
4.
Clean the motor unit (3) and the power cord (2) using a slightly damp cloth if required.
Dry the appliance afterwards.
5.
The blender attachment (6) and the beaker (4) can be hand washed under running water
with a mild washing-up liquid. The blender attachment (6) is dishwasher safe.
6.
Allow all parts to dry completely before storage.
5.2 Storage and transportation
