6. Operating instructions
Hinweis
In order to improve the cutting length, apply 1-2 drops of blade oil (9) onto the shaving
head (1). This is particularly recommended after cleaning. Wipe away excess oil with a
cloth. See chapter

Thin hair
With this function, you can reduce the volume of the hair, thus attaining a modern,
fringed look, without changing the length of the hair.
•
To make the hair thinner, shift the cutter (15) left; with this the thinner function
integrated in the shear head will be extended upward (Fig. 5).
Trim and cut a beard
Select a cutting length grade, depending on the desired beard length. Then cut your beard step by step.
Without a comb mount, the beard can be cut to less than 3 mm hair length.
Cutting without a mount
Warning – danger of injury!
The shaving head (1) is very sharp!
Removing the comb mount (6, 7)
•
Carefully slide the comb mount (6, 7) upwards over the lateral lock pins, with moderate effort, with
thumb and forefinger.
•
Remove the comb mount (6, 7).
•
Without a comb mount, the hair can be cut to an even length of 1-2 mm.
Cutting of contours on beard / hairlines, neck and sideburns
•
Have no comb mount (6, 7) included on the edge of the shear head (1) at the desired height of the
hairline.
•
Move the running hair / beard trimmer downwards.
