4. Operating instructions

The water must cover the objects to be cleaned, but should never come above the
MAX
marking.
7.
Close the lid (1) of the appliance.
8.
Connect the plug to a suitable wall outlet. The voltage indicated on the type plate of
the appliance must correspond with your mains voltage.
9.
Select the operating time of 2 minutes. Do not clean CDs longer than 2 minutes, in
order to avoid damages.
NOTE:
The default operating time is 2 minutes.
10.
A red operation light indicates the operating time 2 minutes.

Press the on-/off-button (10) to start the selected cleaning process.
12.
A blue indicator light (2) illuminates the interior of the appliance and indicates that
cleaning is in process.
13.
During the cleaning process, a low vibration sound can be heard. This is normal.
14.
After the operating time you have selected is completed, the cleaning process
automatically ends, and the blue indicator light (2) switches off.
15.
To stop the cleaning process manually. Press the on-/off-button (10).
16.
Remove the plug from the mains socket.
17.
Let the appliance cool down when necessary.
18.
Open the lid (1) of the appliance and remove the CD-holder.
19.
To prevent lime scale from building up and damaging the control panel, empty the
water tank sideways, and wipe it dry using a piece of cloth.
4.6 Cleaning optical items
1.
Open the lid (1) of the appliance.
2.
Place the basket insert (14) in the water tank (3).
