You can use the keys in the SOURCE section of the front panel to select the memory unit for
which you wish to display the list of files present.
The [SONG] and [LIST] keys in the front panel MODE selection allow you to display the two
types of files, while you can use the [PREV.] and [NEXT] keys to display the pages containing
the files saved in the selected memory unit.
Otherwise, pressing the [ESC] key will abort the operation.
You can now use the function keys to select the file you wish to rename, and immediately
display the video page:
On the display, the current name appears in the field between square brackets. Then use the
encoder to select the letter required and the [PREV.] and [NEXT] keys to move around inside
the field. Bear in mind that the name cannot contain blank spaces; if necessary, use the “_”
(underscore) symbol.
After building up the new name, use the [ENTER] key to confirm the operation, or press the
[ESC] key to abort the current function.
When the operation is complete, the display will show the
COMPLETED
message for a few
moments.
Press [ESC] to return to display of the FILES menu.
If a file in the internal memory is renamed, it will be automatically moved to the end of the list.
If necessary, carry out the Sort procedures (point 8.1.3) to rearrange the files.
8.2.4 CHECK
The CHECK FILE function allows the user to show the main characteristics of a file, such as
its size, number of tracks, file type, etc., on the display. If the file selected is a List the number
of steps present will be displayed.
From the FILES menu, select the CHECK function using function key [F4].
The display will show the DIRECTORY video page relating to the unit and type of file selected.
