When the [ESC] key is pressed, the instrument will return to the MAIN PAGE.
9.1.1 EDIT SONG - TRANSPOSER
The TRANSPOSER function allows you to transpose all the tracks of a song (for the whole of
its duration) by +/- 12 semitones, with the exception of the track used for the drum kit timbres
(DRUM TRACK).
After selecting the song you wish to modify from the MAIN PAGE (whether resident on floppy
disk or in the memory) recall the EDIT SONG - TRANSPOSER function by pressing the [F1]
function key in the EDIT SONG menu.
The display will show:
You can use the
BIAS
parameter (function key [F2]) to set the transposition value, while the
DRUM TRK
field ([F3]) allows you to specify which is to be the Drum Track, i.e. the track
which must not be transposed.
As the display describes, when the [ENTER] key (its LED is flashing) is pressed, the
modifications will be accepted and saved in the temporary memory area, pending definitive
memorisation when you exit from the EDIT SONG function (see point 9.1.6).
Pressing the [ESC] key will abort the operation; in both cases, the display will return to the
EDIT SONG function menu.
You can also listen to the song with the modifications made before saving it by simply pressing
the [PLAY] button. For more information, refer to point 9.1.5 relating to the temporary Play
function.
N.B.:
The chords eventually displayed with not be transposed.

A PIECE OF ADVICE.
In case of complex songs, recalculation of the songs with the modifications
made and the relative saving procedure (which we will discuss below) may
take several minutes. You are therefore recommended to make all the modifications
you require on this section and then carry out the saving procedure at the end (and not
save each modification as made).
