DATA FILER
You can use the [PAGE] keys to scroll through the contents of the unit and press the function
key relating to the song to create the assignment. You can also change memory unit (Memory
or Floppy Disk): during performance of the List the Genius will automatically change the active
unit. When the selection has been made, the display will return to the video page:
The
Song
field will display the name of the song associated to the step.
To enter a subsequent step press the [F5] function key corresponding to the
INSERT
function;
the next step will now be created and a new song can be associated to it using the DIRECTORY
function.
Repeat the procedure described above to create all the steps required.
You can scroll through the assignments using the encoder and change them by activating the
DIRECTORY function on the step to be modified. If a step is inserted between two existing
steps, the Genius will create an empty step (to which a song can then be associated) after the
one selected with the encoder. All subsequent steps will be shifted one place.
The
DELETE
function ([F6] function key) deletes the selected step and shifts all subsequent
steps one place.
Remember that pressing the [ESC] button exits from the EDIT LIST function with consequent
loss of the associations created.
NOTES
ü
Before the floppy drive can be activated, the disk must be inserted and recognised
by the system.
ü
The first step in a List must be assigned to a song since it acts as marker for the
List created.
ü
As we have seen, steps can be created with songs resident on units different from
the active unit. If the List contains songs resident on a floppy disk, make sure that
the disk is inserted during its performance.
