normal call, including 1 and the area code, for example). Note there should be
no pause between *72 and your forwarding number.
2.
You should hear a confirmation tone; hang up and test that your calls are
correctly being forwarded. (Note: this feature is also available through the web
interface).
Releasing Call Forwarding
1.
To cancel call forwarding previously set up in the MTA as per the directions
above, pick up your telephone handset. At the dial tone, dial *73.
2.
You should hear a confirmation tone; hang up and test that your calls are no

How to Access VoiceMail
Depending on how your service provider has set up Voicemail, the access number
and the menu prompts within the system (for listening to messages, setting up your
greeting, choosing your system options) may differ. This section merely advises
how to enter the voicemail system; listen carefully to the prompts in order to
manage your messages correctly.
1.
Pick up your handset and dial *98 at the dial tone. Please note that your service
provider may have set up a different access code. If *98 does not lead to a voice
mail menu prompt, check any documentation provided by your service provider
for an alternate access code.
2.
Follow the prompts within the voice mail system.
Note: the default voice mail message notification is a stutter dialtone. If when you
pick up the handset the dial tone is not steady at first, but sounds like it is
“stuttering” for a moment, it means you have a voice mail message.
