edges and oxidation. Lubricate the screws thread with a thin layer of grease.
Install the wheel and tighten the nuts hard. In double wheels, make sure that the
tyre valves are in diametrically opposite positions. Firstly, mount the wheels with
four equidistant nuts.
Important Recommendation concerning the Tyres and Rims
Operation and Maintenance
• Do not weld the rims with mounted rims;
• Do not stop the vehicle on the oil, fuel, grease, etc.;
• Remove foreign bodies eventually stuck in the wheels;
• Examine periodically the state of the rim, valves and cap;
• Check of new balancing during the use should be performed with warm wheels
(to this end, position the vehicle on a ramp immediately after the arrival);
• Avoid overload, either total or local (irregular load distribution);
• If, by various reasons (doubt about the pressure value), it is necessary to
control the wheels pressure (during a travel), never blow off the tyre to correct
the value; (See the wheels pressure ticket that is located on the upper left part
of the windshield);
• Performed the change, follow the wheels change direction;
Storage
• Avoid water and humidity inside the tyres;
• Avoid long exposition in the sun;
• Turn periodically the stored wheels in the vertical position to change the
support area;
• Air chambers and protectors must not be suspensed, but shelf-supported;
IMPORTANT:
Do not perform modifications on the ends of the valve rods of the pneumatic
suspension level. When necessary, contact a Volare Representative.
Grease Lubrication Point
Every 5.000 km, lubricate with grease
the identified points. Only the moveable
coupling should be lubricated every 10
000 km. Use grease that corresponds the
specification given in Chart 1.
Apply only necessary quantity of grease.
The excess, besides wasting, may
damage the sealings.
