GAUGES, INDICATORS & DISPLAYS
Indicator Check
All indicators will light for a few seconds
and then turn off when the Volta powers
up. The ON indicator will then light and
remain on. When applicable, the other
indicators will light under certain
conditions. These indicators’ conditions
are identified on the table on pages.
If one of the indicators does not light
during the indicator check, contact
your Volta Authorized Service Agent
as soon as possible. (p. 11 & 12)
Meter Check
The SOC needle will swing to full charge
and then zero when the Volta powers up.
If the SOC needle does not zero, contact
your Volta Authorized Service Agent as
soon as possible.
Display Check
When the Volta powers up, the LCD
display will temporarily show all black
so you can make sure the liquid crystal
display is functioning properly. The LCD
backlight will always be illuminated
when the Volta is powered up.
If any part of the display does not come
on, or the backlight is not illuminated,
contact your Volta Authorized Service
Agent as soon as possible.
Critical Problem Indicator
The critical problem indicator (Led 2)
will light in red colour when a problem
is detected by the bike sensors. Some
problems can mean that only a re-start
is needed, some others will mean that
a service repair or a reprogramming is
needed. When lighting, please stop the
bike, switch it of for a couple of minutes
and turn on the bike again.
If the light disappears, you can keep
riding safely.
If the light does not disappears, or the
power of the bike gets dramatically
lost, please turn off the bike and visit
your Volta Authorized Dealer as soon
as possible.
