SERVICE SCHEDULES
Basic periodic maintenance
In addition to the regular maintenance and the daily pre-ride inspection, please consider performing the periodic checks on
the following table at least once a month, even if you haven’t ridden your Volta. If your ride frequently we truly recommend to
do this check once a week.
Brakes
Check the levels of the front and rear brake fluids reservoirs, adding correct fluid if necessary, and
investigating the causes of any low fluid level or any fluid leak.
Tyres and wheels
Check the pressure with a gauge and add or remove air if necessary.
Examine the tread, looking closely for nails or any cutting objects that could damage the surface. Roll
both wheels to be sure that all the surface is checked.
Check the general condition of the wheels.
Lights
Make sure that all the lights are correctly running: front headlight, front daytime lights, rear light,
brake rear light, turn signals, license plate light.
Belt
Check the belt tension. Ensure that the belt is well-adjusted, checking that with one hand belt can be
bent (torsion movement) from the horizontal way to a vertical way (90 degrees) maximum.
Throttle
Check the freeplay of the throttle grip. Ensure that is returns to the closed position and that it turns
smoothly.
Fuses
Make sure that you have a full supply of spare fuses. (not included)
Nuts & bolts
Check the main fasteners and tighten if needed.
